I had the day off so I headed up to Cedar to spend the day with lover boy! It was snowing the whole way up and I freaked myself out a few times, but nothing was stopping me from spending a fun day with my Sam! When I finally got there, I was welcomed by lot's and lot's and lot's of snow.
We had planned to look around for a place to live, but found out that it was a few weeks too soon to be looking. So we gladly threw our plans out the window and spent most of the afternoon snuggled up watching Les Miserables. I tell you what, I'd be fine with snow every day for the rest of forever if it meant I got to snuggle up to that guy all day. It was a dream.
After being lazy, we had a Ramen party with Cody and Robby. Sam made me his favorite spicy Korean Ramen. We slurped it all up while listening to A Very She & Him Christmas and laughing until our bellies hurt.
A little later, it was time for Sam and I to meet up with Alex and Logan Obering for a little double date. We met up at Lupita's for some tasty Mexican Food. Chips and salsa for every meal would be A-Okay with this girl.
After dinner, we headed over to their ADORABLE house to hang out and have a treat before we went to Catching Fire with a big group of people. Seriously, talk about dream house. It was such a fun time catching up with Alex and to have Sam and Logan get to know each other a little better. It will be great to have them as our fun friends while living in Cedar.
We left after the movie a little after 1:00AM. I was a little freaked out driving on the snowy, icy roads that late at night. But Sam, bless his heart, got us home safely and dealt with my craziness the whole way home. He's a real catch, I tell you.
So while I really don't like the snow, it turned out to be a pretty great day. That cute guy of mine made me forget all about the cold and we had a perfect day together. I think I'll keep him around for a while, what do you think?
